3 Days: Sossusvlei Tour may be considered one of the best 'Desert Getaway' adventures in Namibia. Perfect, short escape for those, who love breathtaking landscapes, scenic photographic vistas and closeness to nature! You're welcome to hike the dunes or to simply enjoy the views. Throughout the tour you may encounter: springboks, ostriches, Oryx, Giraffes, Wildebeest, Mountain Zebras, Bat-ear foxes, Mongoose, Meerkat, ground Squirrels and perhaps free roaming Cheetahs or Hyenas.

This tour may be tailor-made to fit individual preferences.

Day 1: Sossusvlei – Namib Dessert

Pick up at 9 am from any hotel/lodge situated in Swakopmund or Walvisbay and directly on the way south to world-famous Sossusvlei via scenic Spreetshoogte Pass. Stop-over at the view point to admire endless panorama of the Namib. En route, stop for lunch at Solitaire oasis.

After arrival at the lodge, time for relax & admiring vistas of Namib Desert.

• Luxury Lodge – Dead Valley Lodge or similar.

Distance: 350 km on gravel road

Day2: Sesriem

Early morning, at sunrise, on route through the Sesriem Gate to spectacular Sossusvlei. We start off with climbing picturesque Dune 45, experiencing beauty and vastness of the orange-colored landscape. Off-road drive to the surreal Dead Vlei, a place of vast desert pan where dried-up, ancient acacias stand silent in the impressive, open-air gallery. If you wish, you can take on climbing Big Daddy or Big Mama. 360 degrees panoramic views of the Sand Sea are incredible. Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei are considered to be one of the most photogenic and some of the most photographed places on Earth.

After lunch visit at Sesriem Canyon and Elim Dune.

Enrooted, you can observe occasional wildlife: ostriches, oryx, bat-eared foxes, springboks, possibly cheetah and various birds inhabiting the desert. In the afternoon, time for rest and relaxation in the quiet atmosphere of the Namib.

Day3: Spreetshoogte Pass, Windhoek

After breakfast, departure to Windhoek through scenic Spreetshoogte Pass. Arrival at the capital before lunch.
